The Chesterfield School of Ballet directed by Patricia Dodd, registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance , is staffed by seasoned professional teachers. In addition to our strong jazz  and musical theater program we are the only School in the Metro Richmond area authorized to teach the world respected Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus and enter our students for the Childrens' Grades and the professional Vocational examinations. Your performing opportunities will include our annual full length  Nutcracker and our Spring Dance Concert.

The 2009 Nutcracker will be performed at Appomattox Regional Governor's School in Petersburg on Saturday December 12 at 6:30 PM. The performance will feature Guest Artists, Heidi Winton Stahles as the DewDrop, Nicole Jordan as the Rat king, Michael Tatum as the Nutcracker Prince, Andrew Schappacher as the Snow King, Brandon Becker as Herr Drosselmyer together with Students and Parents of  the Chesterfield School of Ballet.

Tickets are $12.00 for Adults and $8.00  for Students under 18
